We had a very warm welcome from our friendly host Célia, including a generous food package. She showed us everything and provided lots of tipps what to do on the island.
The cottage even exceeded our expectations. It is well equipped and the interior is a perfect mix of modern furniture and appliances combined with antique pieces as decorations, telling about the family history. Besides there was a nice, clean pool and evevn a new garage. From the garden and the kitchen window there is a nice sea view.
We really enjoyed our stay and had a good base to make trips across Sao Miguel. If we hadn't booked another house for our second week in advance, we would have stayed another week. We really recommend to book this top renovated stone house in Feteira Pequena!

We stayed for about 12 days and stayed at two of Celias houses, it was just wonderful. We first stayed in the west at her house in Mosteiros. The view from the house is extraordinary. My family and me loved staying there and explored the west of the Island from there. The house has everything you need and so many things nearby to explore.
Afterwards we moved to Nordeste in the east. The house was breathtaking, built with so much love. We really enjoyed the pool. The location is perfect to explore the east of the Island including Furnas. We only wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy and relax at the house.
Staying at Celias houses was exactly what we needed while exploring Sao Miguel. Definitely a Recommendation.
